Mathyld is a self-taught crafter, straight-edge extraordinaire and night-owl. She shares her Art Nouveau flat with her amis : a Cat and a Chinchilla.

She also studied Art History for a decade and Costume History for three years.
Now alternating between creating treasures for the home or the human beings she often finds inspiration while wandering on her bicycle in a deserted nocturnal Paris or day-dreaming in dusty Museums.

She shares her tales about crafts, Art history and magic Under the Pyramids.

Drucilla describes Mathyld as uber-sophisticated, ultra-chic, and a complete perfectionist.  Mathyld’s aesthetics and skills are second to none.  Plus, she is the most supportive and caring friend.

Drucilla is a fiber artist and farmer.

She lives in an old farmhouse in rural North Carolina with a flock of sheep and rabbits, her beloved dogs, and an ancient mule.  Sometimes she tears her vintage dresses while tending the farm, which adds to their charm.

She shares her fiber art, vintage finds and farm life at Drucilla Pettibone.

Mathyld considers Drucilla as one of the most inspiring crafters & persons. Her dreamy farm as well as her unique style scream “Magic”. No wonder she’s a dream friend !
